SaddleSore / BunBurner Combo - Your Choice, or Both !

Planning on doing your first SS1K ?  Or another SS1K ?  Or is it time to step up to the BunBurner level ?   Either way, join us Friday June 29th, 2012 for a Noon departure at Capitol H-D in Dimondale, MI (on the southwest side of Lansing)

These rides continue a long tradition of IBA certified rides departing Capitol H-D.  Passengers and all makes of bikes are welcome.

Since this route is pre-approved by the IBA and we are approved
witnesses, only a few key receipts are needed, and no logs, or witness
forms are required ! We make it so you concentrate on the ride while we concentrate on the paperwork!

For the BB1.5K ( 1,500 miles in less than 36 hours ), the ride will be two 761 mile loops starting and ending at Capitol H-D, the first done counter-clockwise and the second done clockwise - see the map above.  There should be adequate time for a recommended three hour rest between loops.

For the SS1K ( 1,000 miles in less than 24 hours ), the ride will be a 761 mile loop starting and ending at Capitol H-D ( same route as for the BB1.5K ) in addition to a following [ a +250 mile ] out-and-back from Capitol H-D to Houghton Lake Heights and return.  There should be adequate time for a recommended three hour rest between the loop and the out-and-back.

NOTE : For those attempting the BunBurner, a SaddleSore certificate is also possible if a gas receipt is obtained [ after the 1,005 mile mark ] from the 76th Street Auto Truck Plaza just south of Grand Rapids before noon on Saturday during the second loop.

Detailed ride instructions will be distributed after registration and before departure.
