" Michigan Capitol H-D /Tri-State SaddleSore / BunBurner Combo"

( Your Choice, or Both! )

Let's ride around a good portion of the "Mitten"and some of Indiana and Ohio, too.

Pre-Approved Iron Butt Association Certified Rides

SaddleSore / BunBurner Combo - Your Choice, or Both !

NOTE: A BunBurner Gold will also be offered but requires a different route.

An IBA number is required to do a BBG.   Click here for more info : BBG

Planning on doing your first SS1K ?  Or another SS1K ?  Or is it time to step up to the BunBurner level or even the Bun Burner Gold Level (see above)  ?   Either way, join us Friday June 28, 2013 for a 9:00 am (BBG & BB1.5K) or Noon (SS1K) departure at Capitol H-D in Dimondale, MI (on the southwest side of Lansing)

These rides continue a long tradition of IBA certified rides departing Capitol H-D.  Passengers and all makes of bikes are welcome.

Since these rides are pre-approved by the IBA and we are approved
witnesses, only a few key receipts are needed, and no logs, or witness
forms are required !  We make it so you concentrate on the ride while we concentrate on the paperwork!

For the SaddleSore  SS1K,  (more than 1,000 miles in less than 24 hours), the ride will consist of collecting mandatory gas receipts at locations scattered around the lower peninsula of Michigan and a few in Indiana and Ohio.

For the BunBurner BB1.5K  (more than 1,500 miles in less than 36 hours), the ride will consist of  collecting the same mandatory gas receipts as for the SaddleSore, with an extra gas receipt from the Lansing area and one final receipt at one of four optional cities and then return to Capitol H-D.

With good planning, there should be adequate time for an extended rest break during both the SS1K and BB1.5K portions - remember, this is an endurance ride, not a race !

NOTE : For those attempting the BunBurner, a SaddleSore certificate is also possible ( for an additional fee - see application form ) if the Rider obtains a receipt from the Lansing area before 9:00 am on Saturday before starting the out-and-back.

Mandatory gas receipts for the SS1K
